The Effect of Organizational Climate, Teachers’ Perception about Principal Leadership and Work Motivation toward Teacher Performance in State Primary School, Panei District, Simalungun Regency (Published)

Education is the basic capital to produce superior and qualified Human Resources. It is inseparable from the role of school stakeholders, including principals, educators, administration, supervisors, school committees and society. One of the problems of teacher performance can be seen from the results of competency tests conducted by the government to teachers. Teacher perception factors about principal leadership also greatly affect teacher performance in schools.  Teacher performance motivation also influences the quality of teacher performance. There are still gaps between the performances of teachers who are expected to carry out their responsibilities at school. This study can be formulated as follows 1) Is there a positive influence of Organizational Climate toward Work Motivation of Elementary School Teachers? 2) Is there a positive influence of teacher perceptions about principal leadership toward work motivation in elementary school teachers? 3) is there positive influence of organizational climate toward the performance of public elementary teachers? 4) Is there a positive influence of the teacher’s Perception about principal leadership toward the performance of public elementary teachers? 4) Is there a positive influence on teachers’ perception about principal leadership toward work motivation of Public Elementary School teacher? 5) Is there a positive effect of work motivation toward the performance of the state primary school teacher?.  And the research objectives are 1) to determine the effect of organizational climate on work motivation of public elementary school teachers in Panei District, Simalungun Regency.2) To determine the effect of teacher perceptions about school leadership on work motivation public elementary school teacher in Panei District, Simalungun Regency. 3) To determine the effect of organizational climate on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Panei District, Simalungun Regency. 4) To determine the effect of Teacher’s Perception of Principal Leadership toward the performance of public elementary school teachers in Panei District, Simalungun Regency. 5) To find out the effect of teacher work motivation on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Panei District, Simalungun Regency. The research method is carried out by using a purposive sampling approach, it is the considerations of the researcher. The results of the study are: 1). Organizational climates have a significant effect on the work motivation of public elementary teachers which is equal to 5.978 with a determinant coefficient of 54.20%. 2) Teacher’s perception of principal leadership has a significant effect on the motivation of work of public elementary schools which is equal to 2,344 with a determinant coefficient of 62.70%. 3) Organizational climate has a significant effect on elementary school teacher performance, which is 3.068 with a determinant coefficient of 51.80%. 4) Teacher’s perception of principal leadership has a significant effect on the performance of public elementary school teachers which is equal to 2,344 with a determinant coefficient of 62.70%. 5) Teacher motivation has a significant effect on the elementary school teacher performance of 2.586 with a determinant coefficient of 60.50%, and leadership is partially the dominant variable and has a significant effect on the teachers’ performance of public elementary schools in Panei  District,Simalungun Regency, which is 8,395 with determinant coefficient values at 62.80%,

The Effect of Learning Organization, Organizational Climate, and Work Motivation on Work Satisfaction And Teacher’s Performance of Teachers of the State High Schools in Kendari City, Indonesia (Published)

This study aims to analyze the effect of: 1) learning organizations on job satisfaction; 2) organizational climate on job satisfaction; 3) work motivation on job satisfaction; 4) learning organization on teacher’s performance; 5) work motivation on teacher’s performance; 6) organizational climate on teacher’s performance; and 7) job satisfaction on teacher’s performance. This research is a survey on 115 teachers with a proportional stratified random sampling. Probability sampling technique and structural equation modeling was used to test the hypothesis. The results of the research shows that learning organizations has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; learning organization has a positive and significant effect on teacher’s performance; organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on teacher’s performance; work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher’s performance; and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on teacher’s performance. It is recommended to examine other variables that influence teacher’s performance improvement such as organizational culture and leadership style.

INVESTIGATION THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AND ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR AMONG STAFF IN HOSPITAL. (Published)

Nearly thirty years ago, the subject of safe climate was introduced and to establish conditions which make health and safety for individuals, As well as refers to a condition which desired of individuals behavior, industry events and predict impacts on physical health. Also it is related to an understanding of the management staff, commitment and implementation of safety policies, processes and practices. Therefore In this study, the effect of the relationship between organizational climate and organizational citizenship behavior among hospital staff was investigated. The sample size was 130. Information was collected with using a standard questionnaire. 29 questions in the questionnaire used in the study, 8 questions about organizational climate retrieved from Jav and Liu organizational climate questionnaire, And 20 questions retrieved from Bell citizenship behavior and organizational citizenship behavior questionnaires. Questions are based in the Likert-scale. The results show that situation of the organizational climate and organizational citizenship behavior among staff at the Imam Khomeini Hospital is above average. Other findings revealed that there is a significant positive relationship between organizational climate and it’s characteristics with Organizational Citizenship Behavior.Finally, the results showed that factor of aim clearness and agreement is most important impact prediction of Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Organizational Climate and Corporate Performance: The Nigerian Experience (Review Completed - Accepted)

The study examined the relationship between organizational climate and corporate performance in the Nigerian oil industry. The sample for the study consisted of three hundred and eighty two (382) employees from seven randomly selected major oil companies in Nigeria. The study utilized both quantitative data (questionnaire) and qualitative data (interview). The spearman rank correlation coefficient and Multiple Regression Model using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 15 were utilized for the analysis of data. Our finding revealed a positive and significant relationship between organizational climate and corporate performance. Specifically, recognition for achievement, organizational support and cohesion were revealed to have a positive and significant influence on corporate performance. Based on this finding, it was concluded that the prevailing organizational climate had a significant positive effect on corporate performance. The managerial implications of these findings were also discussed
