This study will employ an interpretive methodology in order to examine the socially-constructed views of EFL teachers, and their decision-making, with regards to the appropriate cultural models for EFL textbooks in preparatory year at the University of Tabuk. The study will examine the factors affecting teachers’ views and how they apply their beliefs in their classrooms. The study will also examine their pedagogical decision-making in the classroom. In order to answer the study questions, a questionnaire will be created to examine the suitability of the cultural content of EFL textbooks based on the views of EFL teachers in the PYP.
