Factors Influencing New Technology Adoption Behaviors of Rice Farmers: Binary Logistic Regression Model Approach

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting the behavior of rice farmers in choosing new technology application. The study employed Binary Logistic Regression model on survey data of 455 rice farming households in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. The results show that influencing factors include: Human capital, Physical capital, Social capital, Perceived risk, Uncertainty and Market access.
