INTEGRATION OF PRIMARY EDUCATION IN ACHIEVING UNITY, CULTURAL AND PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENTS IN CROSS RIVER STATE, NIGERIA

Abstract

The study examines the Integration of Primary Education in Achieving Cultural and Peaceful Co-existents in Nigeria. Three research questions were used in this study. Descriptive survey design was adopted because variables are not manipulated. 250 respondents (130 male and 120 female) were randomly selected as the sample of the study. Instrument used for data collection was trail tested to ensure the reliability and validity with coefficient estimate of 0.72 using Cronbach Alpha. Descriptive statistics was used for data analysis. Result of this study shows that if primary education programm is well channel in the national development, it could enhance peace and promotes cultural unity among citizens.
